The Fire Fly fire starter has five components:
- European Ferrocerium Rod / Flint (6 mm diameter by 2 inches long).
- Military Grade Magnesium Rod 95% pure ( 3/8 inch diameter by 2 inches long).
- Hardened Steel Striker/Scraper (sharpened).
- Hardwood handle.
- 550 lb tensile strength 7 strand paracord. 18 inches long
